That's it. Literally it
Google ELO and other systems, it's not that hard. Stop making these grindy awful systems that make initial ranking pure grinding and queue RNG. And then end up in stagnant queues because lolnodecayforyears
Thanks

Not only lazy.
But with the seasonal rewards still in place, this is basically Player vs FOMO instead of player vs player.
"The will of my friends has etched into my heart, and now ill transform this infinite darkness into eternal light
Unmatched in heaven and earth, one body and one soul that challenge the gods!"
Bruh, it's day one, chill. There are thousands of players who never touched PVP giving this a go, and everyone is starting at 0, I have no idea how you expect balanced matched from the get go.
It could be day 1 million it doesn't change a thing.
The ranking "system" is horrendous, i knew it from the time they talked about it on the live letter.
I dont see any issues with the current rating system. It definitely is way better than the old one thats for sure.
Also, grinding is also existent in a ELO system. If you despise grinding in general, maybe you should reevaluate your priorities in Video Games, since the #1 thing that defines MMORPG's IS Grinding.
I don't get why even at bronze one win is a +1 star and one loss is a -1 star? I think it was less punishing with feast at least at low rankings, do i remember wrong?
It is roughly the same, the major difference is now that you dont need to win 3 out of 5 matches in order to jump between rankings anymore(like from silver to gold for example) which is a godsent. If you manage to pull off multiple wins in a row, you get +2 stars instead until you lose. Once you reach gold however, its always either +2 or -2 stars.
