4 man ifrit is NOT listed as a trial.
Its a solo dungeon boss. Its the first instance like that, to teach you about important mechanics (focus adds).
The only reason ultima takes longer now is because its a separate encounter, and SE was trying to make it interesting. Please dont make old content more tedious than it already is.
Ooooooooh your are totally right. It is totally NOT listed as a Trial, I guess the dementia set in for me early because this looks like it's in the trials tab. Though you are partially right, it is considered 'The Bowl of Embers' not just 'Ifrit'.
Waiting twenty five minutes in deeps queue for one forty five plus minute instance where you do nothing but watch everyone run forward and steamroll twas not good new player experience. New Ultima appears to be interesting the friends far more then the old fight ever did.

Press F for the elevator...
The game got just two actual elevators now, one in copperbell and one in Aetherochemical Research Facility.
It should be if everyone is the party has seen the cutscenes, then they don't play.
I laughed at the "press f to pay respect" moment that they added in prae after Maggie shuts down

Scrambled around in Castrum yesterday and Porta today, very fun! From getting off the plane and till the end of the dungeon was so much smoother than before, and it's nice to be able to see the mechanics. I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon for me the more I spam it for levelling each day, but currently, I am all for the changes. It's also nice to not die luring all the adds away and wait for people to teleport away to safety when running it.

Went in unsynced to check it out yesterday for fun, the rework was amazing. There’s more lightings and such. Gaius has his own mechanics now I wasnt expecting that xD
Hoping that other old content receives the same treatment over time, even if it's just retuning rather than full overhauls. Amazing to see bosses in ARR content that last longer than 1 minute.
