Regarding Entry level world transfers

If I wish to transfer another character to a world where I have an existing character already with an entry level account, will this now be able to work?

I am at the prompt and it is saying, when prompted at the destination homeworld.

"You have 1 character(s) on this Home World. 0 character(s) may still be transferred."

As if it is implying I cannot do this, or if I do transfer I'll lock a character out.

Is this normal?

Yeah you can only have one character per world on entry level accounts. If you try transferring to a world which has a character already it won't let you. If you switch to standard sub and then transfer it's gonna let you but then lock that character out whenever you switch back to entry sub. You have to delete the character on the world you wanna transfer to then wait a day to be able to transfer there with entry sub.

The update notes state

Which is why I wanted to move one over.

Wondering if I misunderstood something, I am WELL below the 8 characters.

If I attempt it, will it block me if not allowed?

If you can't, don't give up all hope. It may be a bug, or you may just need to wait a day or two for all the backend systems to catch up with their maintenace too.

I've had the same issue, and the same error. I had the same thought to wait a few days to retry the transfer, but no luck.
Likely they haven't updated the code to allow the transfer for eligible characters. I may try to contact support to see what the issue is.

Yea, I also have this same issue.

Well, I can get it to try to communicate with the destination server, but get "- An unexpected error has occurred." now.
