It definitely doesn't make sense that you cannot queue with friends in Casual. Casual doesn't need separate solo/premade queues though. However, It would be cool to see a Premade queue for Ranked.

I would support a full party queue option that only matches you with other full parties, but ONLY for casual matches. Ranked needs to stay solo only.
The pvp looks super fun. But if they're not willing to let me bring a friend, I'm not interested. (and just to be clear - I am talking specifically about casual. I get concerns over fairness in ranked. But for casual, make it easy and fun for people to jump in and play with their friends)
"I don't care about fairness, my needs must be satisfied"You sound like bitter person who will find a way to complain about fairness no matter what happens. Besides, people have already said just have two different queues and there we go sorted. Stop getting mad and being passive aggressive against imagined toxicity. Your kind of behaviour is more toxic than the actual toxic people who you think lurking behind every corner. We don't want an unfair advantage, we want to play with our friends (you have those right?) in an MMO. An MMO. Play with others. Novel concept I know.
I feel like you're being overdramatic. If you wanna play with friends, play a different mode. This mode prioritizes fairness and fun over "playing with friends".
Create a PF for 5V5 casual matches and you can play with 4 of your friends allday and thrash each other. I’m sure team comps are coming at some point. Just be patient. I do agree that casual que should let you go in with at least one friend to practice and learn together. Ranked should always stay solo though, unless it’s team ranked. You sound like bitter person who will find a way to complain about fairness no matter what happens. Casual, sure. Make it at least duo. Ranked? Nah. If the mode stays popular enough, there could be room for team ranked, but it hasn't worked well in the past so there needs to be proof to the devs that it wouldn't flop. If you want to PVP with friends that bad, there is always Frontlines(which was actually a lot of fun when I tried it), and you can always do a PF as someone listed for a custom match.
Pre-made's are kind of a muddy-waters area in the world of PvP in mmorpg's; people either support it due to just being able to enjoy content with friends or family, or it's highly exploitive and unbalanced.Nope, 5v5 needs fair matches. Getting steamrolled by 5 stacks isn't fun. Even Duo's grant a massive advantage. Hopefully they add a full premade vs. premade queue option, but stacks going against solo queues isn't fair. If you want to pvp with your friends, you can play frontlines. This particular mode is solo queue for now, in order to keep things fair
I feel like what we have currently is about as fair as it could be right now, though i do feel like we could use a tiny bit of Rank balancing.
Journey to all fish: 1383/1729 (348 remaining) [79%]
Imagine the absolute audacity of thinking the current system has any remote semblance of balance or fairness with the random party compositions.
Ranked should be about fairness. You are correct.
Casual should be about fun. Fun, in an MMO setting, for MOST people, tends to involve their friends. Just because you don't like your friends doesn't mean nobody should be allowed to have fun.
