    Duty Support - great

Duty Support is superb for those who want to do things at their own pace and suffer from things like anxiety as a healer. Yes it may not prepare the player for "real" duties but it will help a lot on levelling and not sitting in a queue.

People can get used to the duties via this new feature and then also run them in roulette without ending up confused and feeling guilty when they want to watch the cutscenes.

Hope that they add Havensward soon.

The problem with this is that the "trust" system simply doesn't have the AI available to it to be able to deal with multiple mechanics at once.... unlike humans. Which makes the content insatiably boring for the rest of us.

So you can have your solo experience, fine. But don't make the rest of us sacrifice actual difficulty so those of you that don't want a challenge can be carried through content.

In my eyes if you want a solo version of 14 you should be paying extra so the dev team can expand and have their own section dedicated to it. That way we can keep the difficulty and scale it up, I'd rather everyone be made as happy as possible than those that are crying because they can't get through the content, and then punish the rest of us that actually want to play a game with some form of challenge.

I think you might be missing the point of the system. It is there as an option, not a requirement. It's always going to be more advantageous to play with other people. But for those who suffer from anxiety, have limited time, or want to learn at their own pace, this is a great learning tool.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

I am by no means suggesting that anyone should carry anyone else - far from that in fact. What I tried to state was that this new system allows new players to learn the dungeons and trials at their own pace on all their jobs without fear of screwing up and getting the blame from other players and the guilt that follows on from that. They can then team up with players in roulette and know what to do when because they have done the duty before and know it well.

Higher level content (not MSQ duties) are of course not covered by this system and never should be.

And that's fine, in some ways I do agree with you and I'm glad that the game is becoming more accessible to people.

However, the same dev team is working on both systems, but rather than having both trust versions and a normal "difficulty" version we're only getting the dumbed down content. Which again, is fine for those that want that. But for those of us that want dungeons with a bit of flavor and difficulty (the thing that takes up the majority of the time when doing anything combat or weekly related.") We're sitting there pressing one button bored out of our minds.

This is patently false, as a brief excursion into the realm of The Mothercrystal level 89 trial will tell you. (Or the new Praetorium 4-man).

In 8 years this is the first time I've seen someone with an empty profile picture on this forum.

    Weird.

As someone who is good at tanking and healing but has problems DPSing, it's useful for me to get practice inaf my own pace.

Perhaps it may seem slow for you but I like that I can stop, adjust my bars to better suite me and double-check my rotation(s) without waiting 40 minutes just to piss off 3 to 23 other players.

Not every feature needs to be specifically tuned for your own, personal use case.
