He doesn't look like a really unique model to me. We've had plenty of Auri children in the plot before (Mol tribe, Halric, Weapon quest flashbacks) and while I haven't directly compared his face to the other characters', I think the only really distinct thing about him is the greenish horns.

Perhaps one of the Radiants might decide to tag along for tanking purposes while Varshahn can be a healer/DPS mage with some dragon tricks like Akh Morn thrown in for good measure.

I want to say his horns are a green color which the player can't use. Their shape might also be one that at least most male au ra can't use.

I still feel that 7.0 maybe first focus on the New World so they can start Season 2 storyline with a feel of a real new adventure by going into a new land that mostly unexplored with many unknown civilizations. That way they can focus on setting up the Season 2 antagonist while introducing new companions that may replace the Scions or just join WoL's group of friends for Season 2 storyline. This also will provide time for them to focus on establishing the new civilizations located in the New World we will go to in Season 2 even if we don't go to them yet in 7.0 and maybe provide hints to what New Jobs these civilizations may have created themselves due to not being involved in the whole Eorzea versus Garlean Empire War.

As of now 6.X is just in the clean up phase by focusing on dealing with plots left over from Endwalker. We most likely won't begin the real New Adventure until maybe 6.4 like all expansions.

'Golbez' is Azdaja, given he outright stated that he's been waiting for "ten thousand years" and he and his compatriots are clearly seeking redemption for their fallen world, where as Azdaja has only been trapped in the Void since Allag times (read, around 6000 years or so). It's obvious the Knight in Black and the Elemental Thrones are native residents of the Thirteenth, and are probably the fallen WoLs that caused the Flood of Darkness, not a dragon from the Source who arrived in there much later.

there is no good reason why a dragon like Azdaja would prefer to assume an armoured humanoid and very male shape in the Void even with the Darkness-induced aetherial warping going on, instead of maintaing a more draconian one. It's far more likely that Azdaja is going to appear somewhere else in a completely different context, and that the Knight in Black is Azem's Thirteenth soul fragment as I mentioned, as it makes better sense. Or the Knight is someone else entirelly.

Either way I don't think the Knight in Black is going to turn out to be Azdaja, as that idea just doesn't fit.

I certainly don't think the Golbez is going to be Azdaja, but I bet she's gonna act as his "Shadow Dragon":

I don't see why it isn't obvious to some.
She has a similar body to that of the other first brood, and even has a shadow-like skin color in FFXI. Combine all of that and it should scream: "Shadow dragon is Azdaja"

On the subject of the new 6.15 pictures...

Looks like we're going to the moon with Omega. I wasn't expecting the Watcher to get involved in something so soon, either.

I'm also wondering if that Au Ra involved in Ameliance's quests might be Mikoto's sister who was mentioned off-hand in Bozja through the field records and optional dialogue with her, since she was opposed to the Forum's isolationist policies and the custom deliveries are specifically about bringing change in light of the lifting of those policies.

My god Ameliance is terrifying. She outplayed Rowena with a Batman Gambit and even roped us into the scheme. I can see who Alphinaud gets his planning from, albeit not on her level. I'm terrified to see how he may end up in a few years with his planning, especially if she teaches him how to do it more effectively.
