i was one of the people saying the loose of kaiten can be good on the long terms but i was too clear that the loose of potency must be given back... here i feel we did get hit by a massive nerf... i means i have a friend that hit with his blm some 36k in dh crit with his spam fire spell while my midare barely pass the 26k and midare need 8 action before be used... something feel bad in many sense.
yes we was less dependant of the rng for our damage what is cool, but right now midare feel weak and i don't even understand why i have a 1.3 sec of cast on this sort of pitifull damage. we did go from a job that can hit super hard to a job that hit like meh... i don't care that some say that the net loose of dps is 3 dps... (not %) but it feel weak and not impactfull... what is a shame is the in pvp feel super impactfull and powerfull when i feel weak in pve... wtf!
like i have said before the loose of kaiten can be good on the long terms since it will open more room for add skill that will use the kenki, but it depend if and i say if they go this way. kaiten had become a shackle to the kenki usage. but the main concern of the change the the massive loose of potency on the iaijutsu and ogi that make them feel like weak attack... honestly before i was expecting the arrival of my windows of burst... now i will not await it.
worst and that something people don't mention it... with damage like this the windows of 2 minutes will not be increase that much by the party buff... leading to people wanting less sam since the damage will be not that amazing.
i know they add to reduce a bit the potency because of the auto crit... but this auto crit only cover the loose of kaiten, yes with more critical rating the damage will increase but i don't want to be at the end of the expansion for feel strong...
another point too, with damage soo low, why keep the cast time of 1.3 second? i means you have other class that can throw more damage in one attack without this... before it was because midare and such was hitting like a truck but that not even the case anymore.
ps i hope to see more synergy between the iaijutsu and the kenki kaiten was on the weak side 1 button push for an increase of damage, why not increase the damage of the iaijutsu in function of the number of kenki skill used or like in pvp use a skill that create synergy i dunno... right now the sam feel wrong.
