Common sense would say if the problem is occurring on multiple computers then I can't see this issue being resolved on you end. I got error code (30002) a few times but I cant remember what it stands for. Best of luck to you!

Not just multiple computers, multiple login locations. :< But that's exactly what I've been saying.
I just had this same error code pop up for me, when I d/c'd in the CS just before the moogle fight. It didn't actually get to the CS; it got stuck trying to load it, and I was forced to just exit out of the window (I play in windowed mode).
Now, every time I try to log in, I get this same error code...I'm able to log onto other accounts, but not on mine...To whoever has gotten this error code before:
Did the issue take very long to resolve itself? Is there a chance that I'm going to get screwed too, like the OP? I've already waited a while, logged into other chars, and it's still not working....... X.x

This issue has probably been going on longer than I know about since I didn't come back until May. It probably started long before.
If you've tried everything I've listed I've done between my 2 threads, call Tech Support (After putting in an e-mail support so you can have a ticket number), tell'em you've got the same issue as me, then fill out the bug report page SE_Chris lists.
If you get Tech Support Agent Justin, he's pretty cool, and will recognize the problem. The more of us that have this issue, the faster they'll have to solve it.
Oh. Also, Rykan, are you able to log in from another computer or location, like a friend's house? If you can't then you've got the same problem as me, and it's more proof there's a bug in the login process.
Really, that's what pisses me off is this whole mystery of where tech issues end and bugs begin. Because often times, these "tech issues" are not "tech issues." It would also be nice if they would acknowledge the issue somewhere.
Back in XI, one of the Thieves on my server (Leviathan) got the game shut down for emergency maintenance after a month of fighting SE's support over the Maat fight not functioning over stealing from Maat (which ends the fight in a win for you.)

Yes, more people indeed. I tried exiting out of the Ul'dah market ward search on Ridill about 20 minutes ago, but the conversation window would not close, so I could not do anything with my character. I force closed the game, and now I get error 30002 every time I try and log in. Cannot log in on my laptop either. Cleared the users folder from the FFXIV directory in my documents. I've encountered 30002 disconnects before and lost leves to them, and have reported these via the bug report forums. Given the other posts on this forum this sounds like a serious issue, and I'd very much like to know the status on what is being done to resolve this.
[Edit: I just got back in. It appears it was a market wards server crash (I wasn't aware they were on separate servers). This really needs to be investigated further tho. I wish all who are still having issues with this the best of luck, and hope SE gives some kind of response soon, because it warrants one.]
