Five wards for personal housing on OCE?

There's not even enough FC's to fill 5 wards.

Please swap this around before the playerbase goes into an uproar after waiting 3 months for housing only to get told that 90% of the FC wards are going to be empty and players are going to have to fight over the scarce personal plots.

It's 6 wards but still not a lot.

I can remember on Spriggan on Chaos all houses were FC for months. Not sure how this is going to work given there will be lots of houses in FC wards most likely still available after the 1st round. Will they eventually allow for mixed wards or will they stay FC? I hope they'll allow mixed at some point.

I think the developers for the game see housing as a free company resource, first and foremost. A free company estate has some features a private estate just doesn't, and affords all members of the free company a room at the very least. It only stands to reason that free companies get first crack at housing - even if they go unsold until they are open to private housing. This was the case as housing became available on every other server.

Yes but lets hope they're going to stop rmt from getting these because that is how entire wards were taken over by certain people with FC exclusivity. If they switch things up for the second round this could be fine and if they allow for mixed wards as well.

Although this seems to apply to every patch which is 4 months which in my view is way too long.

Yes, 3 month wait.

Just to have to wait another 1 month for the devs to assess the OCE situation in the next intermediate patch cycle (6.11 or 6.15).

Really an unacceptable predicament to leave OCE players in.

There is what, 100? legitimate FC's on Ravana that can buy houses, that's enough for maybe 3 wards tops?

There are more players wanting personals than FC's. Its a complete oversight by the developers.

For Materia, it's 6 wards for personals in Goblet, Lavendar Beds, Mist, Shirogane and Eperyum. So, 30 wards (1800 plots) for personals for OCE, and 95 wards (5700 plots) for FCs

I don't mind them splitting the wards but I feel like they learned nothing from the times that houses would just be sitting there for months. That's just way too many houses for FCs. I will not be shocked if entire wards get bought by 1 man FCs or resellers.

Why make it sound like this is specifically an OCE thing? It's the same across the board.
