    Wish list for whm in 6.2

    Well i love the new delicious buffs in 6.1 soo much can cannot wait for it to go live

    However now there is just minor tweaks for white mage i would love to see

    1) free cure

    I would like to see a QoL change to this trait to not proc off "cure" but instead make it proc off ANY spell and cause ANY next spell to cost no MP

    2) regen

    Regen skill gets barely used because its a GCD which white mage wont ever use it because glaring is precious to the whitemage to keep damage rolling and heal via lilies , so this skill gets forgotten due to being on the GCD, so my response would be ....Turn it OGCD with a cd of 15sec

    This will also add an additional button press between glares, to prevent 1.1.1.1.1 .2 spare of glares and dia and also help with fluff damage from autos instead if just relying on Kardia/Eos

    So now the white mage will be more around

    Spam glares
    Use divine bension on cd
    Use regen on cd
    Use dia every 30sec
    Use assize every 45sec
    Use misery every 60sec (6.1changes)

    For healing white mage should priorities lilies above all other aspect if healing to generate blood lilies for misery

    This change would make white mage a little more proactive and not falling asleep while glaring

    3) tetragrammation

    With 6.1 changes and its offical that SE wants us to use lilies more to get to misery, i feel that tetra is kinda out of place now?

    Maybe it should give a lily/blood lily but this would create a problem with blood lily alignment

    But at this time its just 700 potency heal, i would like this to be redesigned to benefit the white mage in some form (at this current time i have legit no idea other then it feels out of place due to 6.1)


    3) future QoL changes for expansions for button bloat

    Currently some jobs have button bloat and for the "long term" for white mage i feel that Afflatus solace and Afflatus rapture should "NOT" be bound by keys, but instead turn cure ll into afflatus solace and medica l into afflatus rapture

    This is for the future to allow se incorperate future spells in 7.0 and beyond and reduce button bloat overall for the white mage for the future


    4) swiftcast and raise

    As we know it swiftcast is mainly used for "raise" most of the time, and i feel its about time to merge the two skills together and have a "small" cooldown on raise to compensate for the merge even if its 20seconds ill take it

    This also prevent healers sitting tight and trying to hardcast raise back to back when a party member have fallen repeatively when swiftcast have been used up, all these does is eat into the healers MP and cause drastic stress for the healer overall , and just delays the wipe as a whole, if many members have fallen we still have healer LB3 for a reason

    Trust me when in party finder and a healer and u end up hard casting raise to prevent a wipe....its NOT fun and cause uneeded stress


    5)for the future of white mage

    I would like to see an expansion of the lily system or make some fun interactions with the white mage "regens" but i would like to see more future "earth" and "wind" skills added to the white mage kit, water is cool but we lack the other 2 elements which is stated in its lore

    - Holy 2.5s cast time reduced to 1.5s
    - Assize cooldown reduced to 30s & 2nd charge added, damage potency reduced to 270 to compensate
    - benediction healing potency reduced to 50% cooldown reduced to 90s
    - spells which were buffed by Thin Air now nourish the Blood lily

    A little wishful thinking but i wish Stone IV > Glare 3 was a combo action that uses the same button like when playing a story character (simply to appeal to the no extra DPS button policy). I love earth spells and Stone IV especially sounded and felt great. A slight visual variety would also help the class feel less monotone.

    Divine Seal, Fluid Aura, Stoneskin and Protect returning as low level versions of Temperance, Assize, Divine Benison and Aqua Veil respectively.
    This not only helps with low level WHM's MP economy by giving them an MP restore via Fluid Aura, but it also gets people to learn about proper weaving much earlier on and it makes the low level WHM experience not feel like an absolute slog.

    A Thundercloud-esque buff that triggers off Regen tics.
    This makes Regen and Medica 2 more useful since it potentially makes them DPS neutral/positive and rewards good uptime.

    As for Tetra, I hate to say it but it's kind of fallen into the Button Bloat category now that Lilies outclass it entirely. Not only do Lilies heal for more but they also benefit from the vast array of healing CDs that WHM and other jobs offer as well; Temperance, Fey Illumination, etc. all buff Lilies but don't buff Tetra at all, making Lilies even more powerful than Tetra can hope to match, regardless of what buffs it's given. Tetra is just emergency triage at this point for if the WHM dies or if no Lily is available like at the start of a fight but that's really all it is now and it's kind of sad really. The best way that I could even think to salvage it would be to reduce its CD to 40-45s and have it increase the healing on the target by 10-20% and even that just sounds lackluster. It's crazy to think that power creep has gotten so bad that Tetra would be made redundant by WHM's other tools.

    Just here to correct this, Mantra, Krasis, and Nature's Minne all do work on tetra (and other off global heals), as they state that they work on all "healing actions" rather than "healing spells/healing magic potency."

    Assize changed to have two charges. 1 charge regenerates every 45 seconds. Spell has an 15 second cooldown. (ie. you can't double assize right one after another even if you have two charges, to avoid 'stacking it for burst windows')
    Increase Dia's upfront damage slightly(say 90 or 120 upfront potency).
    Holy cast time reduced by .5 seconds.
    Add a new offensive spell with a potency about 20% higher than glare that has a 3 second cast time. Add trait that gives us a low chance on any damage dealt to get a proc that makes your next cast of this new spell instant and cause it to make your next healing lily use off the global cooldown. (Basically: This is just a way to make dpsing slightly more dynamic than it currently is and give us something to pre-cast lol)

    And make any potency adjustments to our core stuff to ensure this doesn't make us OP.

    Oh, and adjust the level we get our skills so that we have more of our tools at low level to give people a better understanding of what being a white mage is like.

    For Scholar:

    Energy Drain no longer costs Aetherflow. It's a 3 charge action with 20s CD. 100 Potency. Restores 300 MP per use. Grants 10 Fairy Gauge per use.

    Aetherflow MP restore nerfed to 1500.

    Ruin II renamed to something else with an upgraded snappy animation.
