Something that shouldn't even be a thing in the game. Really messes with players who tend to dip in and out between monthly subs. Not everybody can stay subbed to this game year around. They want to respect a player's time and not lock them into be invested in the game, then they really should start working on ways to actually resolving the housing issue.

The lottery system, in my opinion, was a great way to finally give players a healthier way to get a house. But they need to keep going and think of more ways to improve opportunities for everyone to own a house of some sort in every conceivable way possible.

Apartments are nice for players who just want the basic indoor system without the submarine feature and such.

Keep putting out more choices in housing types across the game and everyone will eventually have their own preferred type of home.

Back on topic though, I'm looking forward to the devs finally being forced to realize a couple years down the line that making everything accessible to everyone is a seriously unhealthy mindset when designing an MMO.

WoW has a huge problem with leaning way to hard in designing all their content to hardcore players, while FFXIV leans just as hard in the other direction when it comes to casual content and accessibility.

Again, the devs, after finally realizing going so hard in the direction of making everything casual accessible is actually a terrible idea need to focus on striking a balance between the former and hardcore content so they can actually achieve a more realistic goal of appealing to "everyone" without alienating either side so much and thus causing the natural creation of midcore content for players who are stuck inbetween either one.

Samurai has always been a relatively easy job to pick up and a fun experience to master when wanting to get down all those little secret nuances the job has. Streamlining it suddenly because it hits too hard and your devs being too afraid to think outside the self limiting role boxes they put themselves in shouldn't be used as an excuse to butcher the appeal of the job.

The new PvP jobs show the job designing side of the devs that they can make something uinque and great. They just need to treat each job, such as Samurai as a unique branch within the role they are placed under and not just "BEEP BOOP! MELEE DPS #3! BEEP BOP".
