Samurai changes are unacceptable in the current iteration

The devs will have to learn the hard way not to simplify their content for a potential majority.

If any other MMO can offer the amount of casual content XIV currently has, such as housing, Gold Saucer and all that other stuff, on top of giving the playerbase real individualized job classes and a flora of different diffculty adjustable content, then XIV will suffer a slow and painful death if they don't change their ways.

I don't hate XIV, I just want to see this game improve. But when they make sudden changes to content, such as Job class design and continue to ignore massive amounts of feedback on it. Well...I wouldn't mind the devs getting fed a some humble pie. Especially since they've been doing what they are doing now to Samurai to Tanks and Healer roles for years.

It took them several years to finally fix DRK's Living Dead ability because they were so stubborn about how if they changed it then it would strip the identity from the job. Which, ironically, they had already done that years ago back in SB when they removed literally everything that actually gave that job what little identity it had and turned it into Warrior with extra buttons, lmao!
