" Incorporating change, for change's sake ", is what 6.1 felt like for many of us. I have a lot of Samurai friends who quit, making it seem like SE is going against what was said. We aren't silent, thus we care. Irrelevant to SE if they don't care themselves.

Why go through so much effort to please a small minority of the player-base who will appreciate and indulge in the combat gameplay the Dev team provides on a daily? when they can put in extra more effort to destroy it all by simplifying it to appeal to another audience who will never appreciate it's combat no matter how much further they chisel away chunks of their existing product. Their loyal FFXIV fans anyways. Milking them out takes priority over gameplay improvement or standard. Look no further then the NFT sale SE recently done.

Then again these are not exactly the words of SE but the big chief himself. I can definitely buy that Yoshida cares. Then again... There have been a lot of unacceptable changes of which Yoshida said he gave the green light for them and takes full responsibility for them.

Not holding my breath for this one either. Where we go from here right?
" The silent always leave first ", his words.
The story repeats itself. We had it with wow and now they do the same run with final.

Catering too casual’s only won’t win people over.

Butchering fun and interactive jobs only too cater to the super casual audience won’t win you costumers.

Being cheap about job design and only having 4 member in the job design team for 20 jobs and not even having a representative for every role is not the way.
