I, like many other sam players, have made an account here just to voice my dissatisfaction with the changes to samurai. I knew from the moment it was announced that the job would become dull as a result of removing Kaiten. A lot of people told me then that our DPS would be buffed to compensate, so it doesn't matter. This has been so frustrating to me, because I think a job being fun to play should be much more important than whether or not the DPS is good. It doesn't matter to me in the slightest whether the change resulted in a DPS buff or a DPS nerf - what I care about is that samurai is no longer a fun and satisfying job to play. If they care about what we have to say at all, then please revert these changes.

I've updated my post since the post limit on these forums are strange. Discontent is rising across communities and third party forums. Keep your feedback civil and let your voice be heard. These changes are not acceptable. Even the tooltips paint the image that this is an afterthought. There is no justification for cast bars now.

We are put in a full body cast to prepare for a change that isn't here, if there even is any.

At the moment I'd rather see these changes reverted. Or they change Sam significantly enough to justify removing Kaiten, which I wouldn't even recommend since Sam seemed in a pretty good spot right now.

I agree, SAM now feels by far the worst i have ever played. No one complained about Kaiten, and now we dont know what to do with our kenki but just shinten spam, feels clunkier, less appealing and overall it wasnt even a dps improvement, just a worse job with less exciting things(Crit peaks and smoother rotation). If anything they could have kept the potency on Ogi Namikiri and remove its Aoe property, feels so weirdly planned to me, there were actions far worse than Kaiten, like Shoha and Shoha 2... I´m really dissapointed, will stick to pvp for now until i get bored.
