For most subscription services they have a quick questionnaire when you unsub to get feedback on why you're unsubbing - does anyone know if that's the case for FFXIV's subscription?

Nope, I unsubbed for a while after 6.1 Live Letter until the Ultimate was released, I think there was a multiple choice question but none of the possible answers had anything remotely close to being unsatisfied with game direction or anything like that
SAM changes currently are frankly fine,
End of deal
You are free and welcome to think that. But it would be nice if you didn't constantly try to invalidate others' opinion about it all the time.
The devs said to give feedback after trying the changes and we have all tried the changes and are giving feedback.
Not much else can be said that hasn't already, but we don't want them to think we're complacent by going quiet after the initial buzz, so here we are.
If you really have a problem with people posting, you can just as easily not engage with it. It's as simple as that.
Nope. Not used to it at all. It feels so foreign I'm actively watching my hotbar to make sure I do the new play correctly. Whenever I stop focusing on my hotbar I find out I'm overflowing with kenki or I end up letting my cooldowns drift incorrectly.Hey all.
One question for you guys - Are you "used to it" by now? How the job plays currently? Because that has been sprinkled here and there as an argument to keep the changes. Because people have already adjusted to these changes, "It's impossible to return to 6.08".
Personally speaking...don't be ridiculous. How in the world did you get "used to it" when the changes were first put in? Are you saying people are incapable of adjusting back to what we once had? Rather, this is a mindset of one who feels inconvenienced and nothing more regarding the job.
On another note, Meditate has been brought up as being hard to utilize in it's fullest, especially in Ultimate. People argue that the reward is nonexistent, more so now that we lost all meaning in the Kenki gauge.
While I can play it just fine enough, that doesn't mean I like it.
Is it satisfying to play correctly to my existing kit? Kind of, but normally that isn't something I used to think about. I used to be "don't think, feeeeeeel" kinda player since I was so used to the flow. Now that it's changed even slightly, I look only at the finger and miss out on all that cosmic glory.

For any new, uninitiated people, Vencio is a troll. Ignore or mock him as you like.
Been kind of dog water I really miss kaiten and I I find the auto crits really clumsy and a heavy handed way of solving something which should be part of every MMO and RPG; RNG. I mean it works SAM pumps but cast time for heavy hitters when heavy hitters don’t hit heavily? Counter-intuitive.
But I’m naive I hope they revert or find some of sort of solution compromise which doesn’t completely undermine their more dedicated players. Then again I’ve been running away from this trend of simplifying video games for a while, there’s clearly no escape.

As in you can play with the changes and have done so, and your muscle memory refuses to let you go back because you've already become accustomed to the butchered job. That is an actual argument people use against going back to 6.08. (And it's a horrible one)Depends what you mean by 'used to it'.
I can perform just fine with the changes, they aren't too drastic to where it's effecting my ability to play correctly.
It's still soulless and dull, and I hate the Tenka gonken and Iaijutsu change MORE as time goes on. I don't feel like I'm doing much anymore.
