    playing Samurai at 6.1 was a pain, but when I saw that they Circled Overpower I thought I was seeing things! I mean.. Come On! If they REALLY want to have a Circle AoE Combo Start they just should switch Tempest to lvl10 and Overpower remains Cone but is now stronger due to it being a 2nd Tier Combo Attack, as Samurai I suffer the same stuff with Tenka Goken and it feels limb in comparison!

    I like how yoshi P says that the playerbase has improved so much and yet decides to make things easier for the players. Imo WAR should have been the only tank with conal aoes on both Overpower and Mythril Tempest. WAR already has three other circle aoes in Decimate and Chaotic Cyclone and Orogeny. This focus on homogenizing and simplifying is going to bite them in the rear sooner rather than later. If they continue down this road we will see more big job reworks mid expansions like what DRG and AST are gonna get. They're gonna stifle themselves creatively if they continue with this.

    Just tried warrior out after avoiding it for so long. It feels wrong. Who was this change for? Johnny NoTank who tries it out once and then never plays it again? Cone had range, could easily hit every enemy, and helped with positioning enemies. This is ass.

    Such reasonable arguments being made in this thread and others; still haven't once heard a single good compelling reason for this change. Savage dungeons coming out soon and basically no chance of getting it back then huh? I have never been less excited by the idea. Are there gonna be mobs? Because if so you can Count me the tf out, single target or NOTHING if they're gonna rip the fun out of it on purpose

    It's because there was no good reason, other than short sightedness and listening to the wrong people. Keep in mind that DRK has two line aoes in Flood of Shadow and Shadowbringer and Abyssal Drain is a target aoe. Are they also going to reduce those to point blank circle aoes because people were complaining that it wasn't hitting all the mobs in an aoe? Kind of ironic that DRK has the most options when it comes to aoe variations.

    It's not a bad change but highly unnecessary when given the large amount of circle aoes WAR already has access too. Some changes that would have been preferred imo:

    -Change both overpower and mytrhil tempest to conal aoes
    -Change conal aoe from 90 to 180 degrees
    -Change hitbox of the vertex to be slightly behind the player as opposed to dead center.

    Ultimately this just shows how little faith devs have in the playerbase to allow them to overcome challenges. If you don't like conal aoes, guess what? There's already three (possibly more tanks in the future) other tanks that have circle aoe combos. When did this simple idea of diversity become vitriolic game design? Sadly I expect more of this to happen in the future.

    This was not neccessary or well thought out by anyone maining the class.
    Please, please stop making these types of changes.

    (not tank related but if they ever try to unconify Fan Dance IV, I will be crushed)

    Nah circle overpower is good. I wish they replaced it with steel cyclone though.

    I like circle overpower. I think it's one really small move in it's skill set that was limited for no reason. Really enjoying the new overpower personally and glad they changed it.

    At most sensible, this must be talking about the animation, but even then, why would you want the stronger-looking animation that appears to knock enemies away from you to precede the animation that seems to need them drawn closer and looks weaker?

    If not merely talking about the latter's animation alone... what?

    It wasn’t limited, it allowed warrior to have an unparalleled degree of control and efficiency in pulling the mobs. If anything had to be changed, it should have been the other tanks first aoes.
