They ignore everyone anyway, the forums only exist so they can point at them when requesting feedback that they already plan on disregarding.
this may have been mentioned before but i cant see why SE couldn't make all the tank aoe combos on toggle settings. to me doesn't see to hard to implement the option for each player to set the actions to their preference ie: circle, cone , in-line, maybe add a cross in their also. the combo actions work the same is just up to each person if they want circle, circle, or cone, circle whatever the combination might be.
its because it would take extra dev time to make such a change. Though tbh the change to Overpower seemed like something that could have been done in less than a day let alone a few hours. I can tell it was a rushed changed because the Novice Hall NPC still says Overpower is a cone aoe attack.
I didn't realize the devs became so averse to unique job perks. WAR already has access to 3 other circle aoes at lvl 90 via Decimate, Chaotic Cyclone, and Primal Rend. Heaven forbid they make Mythril Tempest into a conal aoe to match Overpower to give the player options in any given situation. This change is proof that the dev's don't trust the players to adapt and improve on their own.
They have now removed the bonus aggro gen from HoTs. Why are they making it annoying to tank instead of engaging?
One of the newer WHM probably died after placing Regen on their Tank AI in Stone Vigil Duty Support run. /s

Been revisiting past dungeons as WAR to help out a friend go through story and the more I play this job, the more I hate this change even more. It's been difficult to group enemies effectively, forcing the mobs away from the party, and been struggling with even grabbing them. Sure it's "easier" to not target and grab them in a pinch (which I have found playing this in dungeons) but I will repeat that the advantages of it being a cone AoE greatly outweigh it being a circle due to range and positioning.
I highly doubt they will change this back since Warrior skips are pretty popular in the Mogstation but one can hope. I still would love to see an option to toggle this at least.
I like Overpower like how I like my ice cream served, as a cone.
Pretty galling they never even gave a reason for the change. I stuck with WAR after levelling it as my last tank because positioning packs was at least engaging in dungeons, now they're just trying to make it as braindead as they humanly can without reducing it to a single button (yet...)![]()
