So glad someone brought up 1.0! Even if design was clunky, gameplay was somewhat challenging. Of course, people do not like that kind of framework anymore, so the game has been simplified for the masses. If you like games like Dark souls or think every game is easy even on Very Hard or Hardcore mode chances are this patch is not meant for you people sort of like how FFXIV ARR is not meant for players who liked FFXIV 1.0.
These changes like Healers actually getting increased healing after pissing off the majority of their consumers with DPS Healers (Mainly Sages) going around barely healing. This is a welcome chance like the removal of the cross class system which I know you people loved. I know your a new guy but its was a painful system that forced you to level other classes to get abilities, you would of loved that system.

It would be nice to have a Pay MMORPG where to have to pay real money for everything because thats the only way an MMORPG can survive thats made for those people. Star Citzen is pretty much Buy2Win but the Hardcore Minority hate that sort of gameplay and want to gain things via an "ACCOMPLISHMENT" so I don't see how they will get a new game made for them.

This has "Go play Ultimate - YoshiP" energy all over it.If you like games like Dark souls or think every game is easy even on Very Hard or Hardcore mode chances are this patch is not meant for you people sort of like how FFXIV ARR is not meant for players who liked FFXIV 1.0.

Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

Someone's salty a healer out-parsed him.If you like games like Dark souls or think every game is easy even on Very Hard or Hardcore mode chances are this patch is not meant for you people sort of like how FFXIV ARR is not meant for players who liked FFXIV 1.0.

"DPS healers barely healing"
Ah, we have another DPS main who doesn't know how support classes work. Opinion discarded.

Before checking I bet they left the meditation system untouched. So now we have two useless bars to fill

is funny because most of dark souls isn't even that hard. It just requires patience, observation and knowledge of your equipped weapon so you don't burn out of stamina or get mobbed to death. Till you get to a boss or an enemy with nastier moves then you learn how to dodge
It might be me but i find casters in souls and ff14 to be more similar than expected.
Edit: reading the notes on ninja in the patch reading, I can't tell anymore if its yoshida himself of the job designers that are all for homogenisation
Nor can I tell which was the one that eventually caved to making drk have an invul they can use after 7 years

I really hate the new changes, I'd rather have the old SAM instead. I will level Reaper I guess.
reaper is even more braindead than SAM is now
