    I am sooooo ecstatic. These two changes made me extremely happy.






    What do you all think? Most of the healer changes have been around the MP consumption of damage spells, a few range adjustments and such. AST's only change is increased duration of Combust (18s -> 30s).

    The lily generation time reduction sounds quite nice too - a bit closer to how it is in PvP, maybe I'll swing around on WHM a bit more than I do atm.

    Must just be for consistency at lower levels(?), since the upgraded version (Combust II and upwards) already has a 30s duration.

    And a nice extension to Scholar's faerie healing range, I suppose.

    The afflatus misery and addersting ones are much better than what I expected from SE, if they listened to that maybe there is a little hope for healers to stop being heal bloated 1 button spam jobs in the future

    Its took 7 years but finally dark knight has a proper invul. 6000 plus 1 or 2 souleaters SHOULD be sufficient for a self sustain to get them back from 1. Needs testing for confirmation
    and stalwart at 40, about time.

    misery dps neutral at last

    healers getting their damage button reduced in mp cost. See SE, you know everyone presses it, now give us some damage buttons to break up the monotony

    ninjas got some serious buffs

    dancer...does this mean we can get 4 procs again during flourish? I hope so.

    Those WHM changes give me a lot of hope.

    Addersting is defenitly a nice QoL for trials or after the exceedingly rare wipe to a boss. Not sure how exactly I feel about it yet though, would have loved if they upped Toxicon Potency like they did for Misery. Then again the fact they finally did it for WHM makes me hopefull SGE will see a similar change soon.

    Although ngl, I’m a bit disappointed the 18s DoT is going away.

    DPS neutral lilies are a great change. Lilies themselves are still very boring buttons, but being able to heal without losing DPS, getting a Misery to use under buffs and get a little distraction from Glare spam is really good. More changes are needed in future patches, but this is a good start.

    Addersting is also a nice change because I hated pre-pull shielding. Hopefully they will keep changing how addersting works though, because it's still a meh mechanic.

    Surprised and annoyed they didn't address AST's button bloat, but I'm glad they didn't nerf Macrocosmos. They did announce possible 6.2 changes, so eh.

    Nothing really new about SCH. Sad to see the sprint nerfed.

    Its just stone 1,2 and 3 that got mp cuts. Glare is still 400mp so they've not actually done anything for its mp economy later.

    Was gonna say that their solution to lack of mp at higher levels seem to be that you can rapture and not lose it to glaring. Just give me back old thin air. There isn't enough healing to do even in savage.

    I am in DISBELIEF that WHM complaints were listened to: MP costs, weird 18s duration in older DOTs, Lilybell, but especially surprised about Misery. I never thought they’d make it actually DPS neutral. The Lily gauge change, I assume, is a way they are attempting to address MP economy issues rather than revert Thin Air or add some new but it effect but I find it to be an odd decision to give an extra Lily a minute when no additional healing is required. This just makes the other GCD heals even less optimal choices as fishing for the Misery under raid buffs will now likely be optimal. But I’m not complaining. More Lilies per minute equates to more Miseries. I am the DPS now.

    As for SCH, SGE and AST. Not exactly a fan of the Expedient nerf. I think the current cap skills have their own individual overpowered niches and its a shame to see aoe sprint nerfed and not, say, aoe benediction. (I didn’t want any of them nerfed, only Lilybell fixed.) SGE’s Soteria is interesting and I get that it was changed so it can get all its uses in the case you cast a non-Kardia spell during its duration. Addersting change was something suggested on these very forums and is going to feel really good in content.

    And AST… lol… k. I don’t think they know what they want to do to address AST’s primary issue: button bloat.
