    So no real adjustments to WHM's MP economy since the cost reduction ONLY applies to our low level spells, leaving Glare and Dia the same as they are now. Lily System adjustments and Asylum changes are fine but the rest of the changes miss the mark with WHM.

    Disappointed yet again.

    So like Assize where the heal is irrelevant and we're just burning lilies for DPS/resources. You do realize that just means that Lilies won't be used for healing now, right?

    At the end of the day, WHM's still going to bleed mana, still likely going to be solid last in damage contribution, and you're still going to spend 90% of an instance going glareglareglareglareglare.

    Potency neutral Misery is something I'd almost call "good", and then I remember that I hate the overhealing-encouraging lily system's backward class design and I can't bring myself to excitement.

    Also LOL at Dia being a downgrade to Aero 2 now. There's always something hilarious in there.

    In single target contexts, it's only DPS positive if you already have at least 1/3 of a blood lily going into the 2min party buff window. It's not worth fishing for a completely fresh blood lily during the 2min party buff window because 3 Raptures + 1 Misery isn't any better than 4 Glares. But 2 Raptures + 1 Misery + 1 Glare is. And of course 1 Misery + 3 Glares is the best buff window outcome and therefore what we should be aiming for. But aside from that, there is no difference between overcapping lilies and wasting lilies on overheals, which means you don't need to waste lilies on overheals a majority of the time.

    This will be a buff if you stop playing doing content past 70 on WHM, which seems appropriate since then you can switch to SGE and start leveling the superior selfish healer.

    I also see they added even more healing to the tanks. Yippee. I just imagined the new Expert dungeon blowing lilies between pulls to build up a free Misery while spending the rest of the time holyholyholyholy and boss room glareglareglareglareglazzzzzzzzz

    Oh wait I confused a premonition with a memory: I did that when I healed an expert dungeon last expansion. More time to play my DPS classes then!

    I'm overall pretty happy with the WHM changes, they're a good start.

    Lower MP costs at lower levels help WHM a bit before they get access to Solace although I don't understand why they didn't include Cure II in the MP cost reduction because that was the biggest issue at low levels. Cure II spam isn't sustainable, it needs to have lower MP costs. Cheaper dps definitely helps in 70 Ultimates though because you don't have a dps neutral Misery there.

    The 20s Lilies and dps neutral Misery change is huge. Not only is Misery now a dps gain when used under buffs/ pot, it also saves up to 1,6k MP per minute which should be enough to solve most of WHMs MP problems. It also allows for dps neutral Swift + TA double weave for a ress, another problem the TA change brought with it.
    And WHM is finally encouraged to heal, not discouraged. Dps neutral (and positive under buffs) healing was long overdue, I'm glad they listened to the feedback and made Misery dps neutral.

    Lilybell detonation was also necessary but I wish they'd just lower the cooldown. It's a strong skill but the long cooldown makes it so incredibly inflexible.

    SGE Addersting stacks is a nice change for fights that don't have an early aoe and makes it much easier to coordinate in a SGE/ SCH comp. Now SCH can just their stronger prepull shields and SGE still has full stacks. I doubt they really factored in SGE/ SCH comps but it's a nice change nonetheless.

    But the Expedient nerf annoys me.
    It's just a Sprint, come on. Unlike Macrocosmos you can't delete a mechanic with it. It makes movement easier (or you yeet people into the death wall with a surprise sprint) and it's nice in dungeons but the 20s infight sprint wasn't op enough to warrant a nerf.

    Overall a good start, especially for WHM. And now more deeps buttons please!
    You know we're pushing them or you wouldn't have reduced MP costs or made Misery dps neutral.

    I've quit healing (except for BLU) but I'll defer to your judgement here since I couldn't care less about parse numbers, but I do always try to avoid overhealing. My focus is on how fun jobs are when executing the rotation which leads me to an observation

    Misery will now be once every 63s (60s to get the lillies and then 1 gcd to pop the last lily before using it) which is an improvement on 93s in terms of rotation boredom. Not much of a bar but hey my councilor said i should start looking at small good things more and thats something
