Honoring and Remembering My friend Miya Sha.

Good day Forum i don't often post on the forum unless it's something i care a lot about.

Saturday morning the 9th of April. 2022. My friend Miya Sha passed away in their home.

They were someone i considered closer than my own brother, someone i felt happy to always be around, even when we had our own squabbles or silly little cute things.

We often voice chatted on Discord, and steam. We often played Borderlands 2 together, and they were gonna teach me MHR.

I first mett Miya Sha, in ffxiv 1.0 in 2010, we mett in a thousand maws of totorak run together and we used to be in a FC together called Forge in 2.0.

So my hopes is to ask if it'd be possible for tenants of the house to be able to reset the timer of the demolition, i don't want to see Miya's house disapear and along the memories.

Please please please, if you can help me and a group of us, to keep their house ingame going.. please find it in your heart to do so. This would mean so much to all of us who knew, loved, and still love and care for Miya Sha.

Yeah. They were more of a family than my real brother is. So im taking it pretty hard honestly. ;x;

Indeed we are, across multiple FCs that Miya associated with, Miya Sha was a close friend and virtual sibling - from our days where we first met in FFXI on the Midgardsormr server to encouraging me to give FFXIV another chance in 1.0 through the ARR Beta and into ARR proper,, including being a major encourager of me and my FC moving from my original 1.0 server Ridill to Balmung, they've always been there as a mentor, friend and companion throughout everything.

And they were also extremely generous to a fault, always willing to help out anyone who needed it without expecting anything in return, whether it be an item that needed crafting or help with a dungeon, or outside the game, sending gifts or just humorous images, and just being a friend in dark times.

If anyone wishes to pay their respects, Miya's personal house is Mist 2nd Ward, Plot 1 on Balmung, and now thus kind of their memorial.

Rest in peace MiyaMiya, may you ever walk in the Light of the Crystal. ; ;

Yup. It's just a shame.. i wanted so much more to do with Miya, truth be told.

You probably have never heard of me (I don't normally post online), but I am the younger brother of Miya Sha. He was very introverted and didn't talk much and passed intestate. Our family is trying to piece together information so we can manage his estate.

It's been pretty rough and if you have any information no matter how small (usernames/accounts/email addresses/etc) that would be useful as we're trying to track down anything in his name so we ensure his affairs are settled.

*Hugs Vaudian* I am so sorry for your loss too. Miya never really spoke about his real-life family so I can only begin to imagine how much you're all suffering at this time as well. ; ;

I presume you've been in touch with Catreece and Korinthia (Miya's housemates) who are handling Miya's affairs, unfortunately from what they told me Miya was... extremely careful with online security and so sadly they have no way of accessing/recovering things like his FFXIV account or anything (not to mention his computer was destroyed in the fire).
