Not really. Seems like he’s talking more about job complexity and how it has diminished over the years over content complexity.

Some job changes I can agree with: I don’t miss things like piercing resistance down, and how reliable the physical ranged were on it. But there have been others simplifications—like the healers—that I disagree a lot with.

There’s a significant decrease in the complexity of jobs and how they’re played. It’s been happening since SB. That’s what they’re talking about.
