A strange question about CRT monitors and aspect ratio on FFXIV

This may be a quite as strange question about the game but on a Technical level I'm getting a CRT Monitor to play the game on but I quite worry about the aspect ratio issue. The question is am I able to make sure the game will fit and work with the game being in a 4:3 aspect ratio without any issue will it A automatically refit it self to the game without issue or B will I have to fuss with the in game settings to make sure it fits.

It'll adjust automatically, but you'll likely have to resetup your HUD to account for the difference in resolution.
If your on PC, put the game in windowed mode and you can see how it reacts when you drag the window into different forms.

If the difference in resolution is very large, you might have to fiddle with the settings for icon and text size, but aspect ratio is not an issue.
