FFXIV Gamepad Issues (MacOS)

Hi there! I bought last week the Mac licence and then I struggled with the broken launcher. I can play thanks to another 3rd party launcher.

then, inside the game, my gamepad does not work. It works fine in MacOS, and works fine too in other games, but FFXIV just don't work. It needs to be fixed

I'm playing or trying to play, in a Macbook Pro 16" M1 Pro. I hope the next 6.1 patch will improve something...

SO version: MacOS Monterey 12.3.1

You probably won't get much help from the forums for FF14 Mac related issues, (the mods and devs here usually just copy/paste prewritten scripts pretending to help but the truth is, they don't really support macOS) if you need help, join the XOM discord and they will try and help you out there. The sad truth is the FF14 community is doing more for Mac users at the point...just saying.

What Controllers have you tried so far? PS4, Xbox One and Switch Pro controller.
Which 3rd party software are you using to launch the game? XIV on Mac. otherwise, the original one just does not work.
Steps taken before this issue occurs: connect any gamepad by Bluetooth and USB, start mac, open XIVoM, enter the game, gamepad does not work.
Are the Controllers 1st party (Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo) or 3rd party (Off-Brand)? First party all of them.

I do apologize for this ongoing issue regarding the controllers not working properly for Final Fantasy XIV. Just to gather more information, are the controllers fully synced via Bluetooth or wired cable to the MacBook Pro? Have you attempted to use a 3rd party controller or possibly an older controller such as the Xbox 360 controller?
