Untrue. I've failed many synths that I was previously having much success with, and was bewildered until I discovered I forgot to equip my flourite rings. Once equipped, I was having success again.

Placebo effect. Dex has no effect on success rates. Notice how many people say the same exact thing you do...except instead of equipping rings, they get up and turn 90 degrees.

It's all head tricks. Don't believe yourself. You're lying to you.

This is the case for many crafts. I wish all crafts had a reasonable grind synth that was R50. That would make the last 3 ranks quite less painful.

Farm antling's scales = scale glue.
Silver francisca heads = silver nuggets = easy.
Hafts, rank 20 carp synth = easy.

5 earth shards a synth = beautiful.

Nothing to complain about here --- start saving up that platinum ore. ^^

I am now level 48 only just and the thought of more Axes is making me lose the will to live lol
I am hardly getting anything for them now 250 if lucky....
