Regarding Garo's event mounts....

I was capable of catching up with the event when it was around. So I'm glad to see it coming back. However, there is but one major issue. So I gave a look at how to obtain the mounts and got downed by one fact, that being I need to at least win 10 PvP matches to actually get one mount and 60 PvP matches in total to get all three mounts.
To some, this may sound okay if not easy. Sure some would find it difficult a bit but no issues. However, I have played around 20 frontline matches, and... well.... matchmaking always throws me at the worst team possible. Out of 20 matches only 3 were won, which means I have to play around 500+ to even have a possibility of winning 60.
What's the solution? Instead of winning. Can it be changed to participating with adjustment to the number? Like instead of winning 60. You get to participate in 120 or 200 to obtain all three mounts.
This should do justice to people like me who're bad lucked enough to be with 23 players who have no idea how to press their keyboard and can't change the course of the battle against a horde of well-coordinated 48 players.
Now before someone jumps in and says: "Well... coordinate your fellows!"
I'd like to say I tried on more than one occasion and it always got the third placement.
So yeah. Please change the winning to participating.

Maybe people will try a bit harder to win? x) There isn't that much incentive to do well atm. With mounts/good rewards on the table people tend to try a bit harder.

The reality of frontlines is that all 3 teams are generally equally bad because queueing randomly sorts you into 1 of the 3 teams and the largest premade that can queue together is 4 players.

The first time this event was a thing it took wins to get the mounts. I think keeping that requirement is fair, especially when we have a new, short pvp mode incoming.

Assuming that Crystal Conflict will be the primary source of the currency required for the mounts it shouldn't be too hard. CC matches are 5 minutes long and I'm sure they'll be very very active at the start of the patch and while the event in ongoing.

the wins count from either mode. Back when it was originally live i got most of my wins from the feast (which let you use the same abilities as PVE at the time). the matches were very quick and because of the event (and the feast was new), the queues were very short. I would expect similar from this new mode they're adding tbh.

Winning in frontlines is defo not the smart way to grind this one out - statistically, you have a 66% chance of losing from the offset. At least on the small scale ones, it's 50%

Can I get everything including Ultimate rewards by just Logging in every day already? please think about the casual and people who play this game since ARR but can't get good.

In all seriousness tho I think rewards for harder content is good, just giving it out to everyone in normal which is essentially just story-mode would be lame as hell.

If we had reason to think that it was thousands of matches, or if the matchmaking was going to require that pugs were going to queue against pre-mades, i would sympathize, that would be a very poor experience.

However those numbers sound like a very low barrier to getting mounts, I'd even consider raising it. Ten wins is nothing. It isn't meant to be achieved in just a day or so, did you think that it could actually serve as an incentive to improve in PVP as well/ that benefits everyone.

I think it wouldn't serve as an incentive to be third-ranked winner team 80% of the matches. I'm asking to change it to participation in frontlines and keep it the same in other modes.
But then again others are right. Doing frontlines for the event may be indeed a bad idea....
