SE's methods of balancing are disturbing at best. They can't ever find a way to make one job just as efficient. What they do is gimp the job considered OP. Warrior as a tank will be getting gimped I assume to the point that PLD will be back in the game and a Warrior tank will be looked upon like they are in FFXI. However, in all fairness WAR's are supposedly getting a DPS increase in Berserk also. As long as WAR is still useful in some way, I won't complain but so much.

Back to the point. SE only knows how to gimp a class and not find a way for the weaker class to properly balance out with the OP class without touching the OP class.

Like I said, simply making adjustments to the combo system and don't make AoE so brutal does wonders. Just have it where we can still perform a combo despite the position (assuming you don't miss), but the damage is more potent if done in that position. Its really that simple on how to make melee more efficient.
