Is there a punishment for afking in dungeons?

Maybe, maybe not. Probably say you have to go afk or something, some wholesome excuse, because people will report. If you don't afk often, even without an explanation, you probably will be fine, but if you do it often you might get hit with a "grief tactics" warning. Better safe than sorry, either way.

Wish they let us kick while rolling for loot is going at the very least in dungeons and older 24m raid cause it does get fucking annoying with afkers or the wild ass early pullers...

I understand why they don't do this (so that you don't use someone to defeat a fight and then kick them if good loot drops so you don't have to roll against them). However, there is an "easy" fix to this. Allow people to call a votekick; If it passes you tell the person "A votekick has been passed. You have 15-30 seconds to roll on this loot or it will be forfeited."

So I was in a dungeon, died to a mechanic once (admittedly I wasn't paying attention that much) and made a joke saying it's ok im a tank I don't need to move. I basically get flamed by 2 people spamming cringe and I left for probably 2 min to take my dog out and chill. I come back to find I was kicked from the party. Just worried I might get some form of suspension now as I probably shouldn't have left but was just fed up with people like them on other games.

It sounds like you didn't give anyone notice. It would've gone over much better if you let people know you'd be AFK. A lot of people are cool to stop and wait. People understand the struggle of dealing with children, pets and parents. When you're not communicating, it's coming off rude, like you don't care.

A couple of nights ago, I needed to run and grab something to eat in the middle of PVP. Let my group know '911 brb' and scurried. Timestamps said I had been booted, either by the system or players after about 2 minutes or so. The system wouldn't let me in to any duty for 30 minutes as a penalty, so I guess that would be it? Big apologies to that group, by the way. Diabetic sugar crashes suck. :')
