Sorry but I had server queues on Friday night and there were around 20 PXSavage groups in the duty finder. No roulette is longer than 10 minutes even for DPS and most are 4-5 mins even at like 2am on a weeknight (and are insta pop for tanks and healers).

I had a blast on Friday night! Healer queues are less than 5 minutes and I was surprise MSQ trials and dungeons took 10 minutes at most

I have been spending most of my game time over the last month on a Sophia alt clearing post-ARR and then skipped to Shadowbringers, so cleaning up all the sidequest unlocks, Omega, Ivalice, Mhach. (Not sure if I want to do Alexander or enjoy not being available for A1N/A2N. Glamour needs will probably win out eventually.)

Getting into the raids for a clear has been a waiting process, but it can easily be like that on Elemental as well, having raised several alts there at times when the raids aren't current content. There's very often a party or two in PF to get into the Ivalice raids, and they do fill and run, so people aren't stuck as long as they have a bit of patience – but again that's nothing unique for unlocking old side content.

On the other hand, I suspect that there might be an imbalance towards tanks/healers and away from DPS, with too many people using them thinking it will be the quickest queue. Seeing "DPS in need" for levelling is not unusual and I have occasionally had an instant queue as DPS even if they're not displayed as the required role.

I also have not had much issue selling things. I bought up a fair bit of glamour on Elemental before transferring the character over, and have been selling it for more than I paid – not everything sells quickly but I've made the money back that I spent, so someone else has to be rich enough to pay admittedly inflated prices for glamour here currently. (But I trust that a trickle of undercutting will sort out the overpriced things, especially as more people move in and have things to sell.)

Overall, the data centre is fairly quiet but I'm not surprised when it's still new. Certainly not time to declare it a failed experiment already.

They should at least allow NA and EU to be able to visit OCE but it would make the JP servers look more like an outlier so it probably won't happen.

Feel like they might break down and allow cross region visit later on, likely they just want to see the effects of the base version 1st, they could tighten the restrictions more for cross region if need be, no market, maybe no solo df and only pf groups, who knows...

I feel players should do their part. They invested heavily in that because they thought players wanted it. Now that it’s a reality players are deciding maybe I don’t want that after all.

From the developers perspective and after reading this thread title I wouldn’t care about this player base anymore. If that’s how they feel it was a mistake to listen to them. Not worth going though all the work of investing big money on new servers and carefully setting them up for you all.

The data center was put in for you. It’s up to the players to make it come alive and work. If not, it wasn’t square or the game that failed you. It was you that failed yourselves.

Keep in mind the number of OCE players posting in this thread is small compared to the total players on the data center. Most game developers aren't going to pay too much attention to the vocal outliers in forums when they've got real data at their fingertips telling them what is actually going on.

Its true really. I doubt a successful company like SE will invest millions in infrastructure willy nilly. The board would never approve such reckless spending xD I'm guilty of whining because I have time to play on a school day evening doesnt mean every ff14 player had to x

I would be concerned if the devs judge the success of the entire data centre on the title of a thread from one person who has posted, as far as I've seen, the majority of negative threads about the data centre.
