Confirmation request: When relocating FC house Private chambers transfer over intact

If I'm reading the information on the SE website 'Shirogane Housing and Relocation' page it looks like if we were to transfer our FC to a larger house our workshop and private chambers would transfer over to the new house intact, I.E. without any changes.

Is there anyone who has done a FC house transfer like this that could confirm this is the case?
There are a number of concerns within our FC that private chambers would need to be redecorated and workshop vessels might need to be relevelled.

Workshop progress/fleet and private chambers will transfer intact to the new plot as long as it is done as a relocation (it's actually the major reason why relocation was added - so FCs would no longer lose those things when they wanted a different plot for their house). I do have personal experience from when my old FC relocated from a Goblet medium to a Lavender Beds large and there was no problem.

Keep in mind that you will still need to redecorate the FC house after the transfer even if you're transferring to a plot that's the same size. Relocation automatically places all your furnishing into the Storeroom. To be able to relocate, you'll need to make certain that the total number of your furnishings (placed and stored) falls within the temporary Storeroom limits for relocation (400 indoor, 40 outdoor).

You can easily check this by going to Estate Settings - Storeroom Status. A green check mark will be listed for both indoor and outdoor if you're good to go, or a red X if one or both exceed will the limit. It should not be a problem if you currently have a small, though it's still good to double check. If you currently have a medium or large, you may need to arrange to temporarily store items in your Company Chest or in an officer's inventory (I had to store almost 200 furnishings on one of my alts for my old FC to be able to relocate).

One thing that I don't think has been brought up is whether owners trying to relocate will need to pass the Storeroom Status check before entering the lottery or only when it's time to finalize the purchase and relocate. I'm going to assume the latter since it makes more sense but you might want to be prepared just in case it's required before you can enter.
