Hello to all who read this.

I am a simple ffxiv player that primarily enjoys the sub classes of the melee variety. I've taken a shine to Samurai since Dragoons simplification in Shadowbringers and I'm here to voice my opinion and concerns in protest to the announced changes for Samurai. I plead to avoid the removal of kaiten, while a minor decision making in the grand scheme of the jobs rotation, I personally find great enjoyment from succeeding in situations that can be failure points. Removing more of these failure opportunity directly impact my enjoyment with this game and I've noticed this trend only speed up and spread with each expansion and patch. I'm willing to relent on the changes from Heavensward to Stormblood but I strongly believe there should be a line drawn in the sand for the base line expectations the game should have of it's players. Not every single class needs to be a very simplified 6 gcd rotation with 1 or 2 ogcds for it's core rotation. In my ideal world, only one class within each class set should be at this level and then the others can be a nice range from difficultly. This trend is very apparent with tanks and it was more so apparent with healers with Stormblood. So please, if you're worried about Hotbar space, consider collapsing Ogi Namikiri into Ikishoten, or Tsubame-gaeshi into iaijutsu. Other's have suggested more alternatives such as combining Guren and Senei, or Shoha I and Shoha II, while I'm not the biggest fan of these types of solutions as I dislike fall off damage I'm willing to acquiesce and cater to those with more limited hotbar space.

Thank you for reading/listening to my rambling and pleas.

Cheers,
