Getting wiped has nothing to do with your job. Thats to do with your tank's competence (and healer's if they are a drk)
Doesn't matter how op or simple a job is if your tank doesn't put his stance on, ignores mitigation while triple pulling etc. Wiping in a dungeon unless its specific bosses with bs aoes or the first room of aurum vale has no excuse to exist outside of party incomptence
in fact, because the jobs are so dumbed down, identcal in playstyle (we might as well have dps plus a tank role/healer role since the latter play almost identicall in their categories) there is 0 excuse for not playing jobs to a basic degree by level 50

We've all been there, numerous times and 9/10 it's because someone was failing to do their job properly.
Tanks that don't bother AoEing
Healers that just twiddle their thumbs and never touch their oGCDs
DPS that freestyle their rotation.
The game allowed these people a free pass thru the game because it never challenged them enough to actually learn their toolkits like it tried to in the past. Failure on Class Quests was actually possible back then, I know because I struggled with the Level 15 BLM quest and the level 50 SMN quest back in ARR. Now though, you can roll your face across the keyboard and kill everything without even losing 25% of your health in quests.
Which is still part of the game. TC specifically said "Please stop simplifying and homogenizing the game. Please." He didn't say just the jobs. Then he said he rarely wipes but that's easier when you're playing war which seems to be the case.
What exactly is so bad about occasionally wiping in a dungeon? You lose some durability on your gear, all your cooldowns get resetted and you can try again. If it happens all the time, there might be an issue with your gameplay but basically saying that non-WARs are bound to wipe in dungeons is nonsense.
Wiping is not the end of the world. It's okay if it happens. You won't lose levels or precious gear or anything. It adds less time to a run than a healer not dpsing, a tank single pulling or a dps not aoeing.
The game doesn't has to be so simplified that it's impossible to wipe.
Whatever caused the wipe, see it as a lesson, try to see what you can improve and move on.
Being able to fail at something is also part of the game.

That's not the point at all. TC is implying "Oh it's been so long since I wiped so clearly this is proof the content is too easy" when i'm saying as a sprout I wipe sometimes and the difficulty is perfectly fine to me as it is.
This game is incredibly simple, it just has convoluted controls for some jobs that have been that way for a while because it takes a lot of work to make things NOT convoluted. Also, yes the content is challenging when it comes out, the only reason it gets easy is because people have a special ability called learning. Also, we get more gear and our numbers get bigger so the boss dies faster. Most people don't even learn how to do proper damage on a job unless it's at the start of a patch cycle, and that is assuming they are doing the current content since all prior content from previous patches becomes incredibly easy.
That and there's only so much someone can do in this kind of game. It's a tab target auto attack online MMO RPG with finger DDR that is just a slower version of finger DDR that people have dealt with in WoW. The only way to get complexity is to have a different kind of game that prioritizes tactics and not just cobbling together some rotation of buttons while dodging obviously televised attacks. Even Savage is freaking simple, it's just a numbers game with very tight timings compared to normal content and you die to mistakes much more easily.
Also savage fights have all the safe spots hidden from players so you got to die figuring out where to move and all that while your friends are shouting conflicting strategies and information. Or you're in a pug that can't make up it's mind on which strategy to use for a specific boss...
