GIVE CARBUNCLE SOMETHING TO DO/GIVE 90 SUMMONS GLAMOUR

Only thing I ask is for Carbuncle to auto-attack when it's out, instead of standing there staring at me, wondering when I'm going to send it away to summon something else.

They could give the carby an insta-cast spell or something, to mirror what Eos does with Embrace. Glorified perma dot? Yes it is, but at least it will make the pet marginally engaged with the combat.

If not that, just... Remove R.A. from the carby (like they did with S.L.) and make the Summon Carbuncle an optional, cosmetic spell. Those who like the pet idling by them the entire time wouldn't be affected... Those bothered by the carbuncle not doing anything would also be pleased.

I wish for this to happen so I can replace the summons I don't care about and just be an Arcanist 90. I joined this game for carbuncle and that's all I want.


On that note, can we get purple, true green, orange, pink, white, black, and any other color shade I missed thrown in? I mean, we went from 3 colors to 4 with the addition of the new carbuncle (which I'd been calling the instance of it roaming Mor Dhona as Sapphire, since it was more blue than traditional emerald).



And can I scale them up to have Huge carbuncle?

I want...

1. The Carbuncle to please, please do literally anything between summons. I know feelings are not the best way to make a decision on anything, but goodness. It looks terrible standing still. It just does.

2. Gigantic Ruby/Emerald/Topaz Carbuncles. Maybe even Bahamut and Phoenix Carbuncles! It sounds ridiculous, but if we already get huge summons, why not the ability to make them into Carbuncles?? /petsize small would shrink them to regular Carbuncle size.

3. I might have missed something, but at lower levels the ability to place my Carbuncle at the enemy position, and for it to stay there even when I'm switching between summons. I want Ifrit and Titan to not travel from my side, and just whack from the same place I put my pet initially. IDK, this might have gotten changed because I gave up when I noticed this at the start of Endwalker. If this was always a thing, shame I misunderstood.

I still have the action that tells my carbuncle to stand in a certain area on my controller hot-bar just to fill up some otherwise empty spaces, although since Searing Light is now casted from you instead of from the carbuncle, I’m not really sure when there would ever be a point to controlling the placement of the carbuncle since the buddy will always be near you when you ask it to cast a shield on you. It’s still fun to do in the open world sometimes since the carbuncle is still very cute, but the pet actions (not referring to the shield move) don’t really seem to have a point during combat anymore.

i can agree that the glam should work at level 90 but i think the distinction is that prior to level 90 it uses the old egi system and post it seems to use an avatar system, so i think we would need a new gamour system for the Demis and the level 90's because conversely Egi glamour works on the carbuncle at your feet.

For me i kina want carbuncle to be permamant and if tht means he doesnt attack then fine. As much as i like carbuncle i really dont want to see other options, i would rather they add glamour solutions to the demis and level 90 that are different i.e the waring triad, Ramu, shiva, Leviathan,SHB Light wardens, Eden Titan, Eden Ifrit, Eden Garuda (tho i dont think looks differnt) hell use the FFXV colab garuda design EWTrial 1 and EW trial 2.

I do think they have a lot of options, if they want to down the glam system. Having said that, I suspect that a lot of these versions will come in future expansions.

But before all that, i really want them to solve the rotational issues and rigidity within the class itself.
