Questions about housing on OCE servers

Just to put this out there: You cannot enter lottery on an FC house AND personal house in any single entry period no matter how many alts you have on that world. You also cannot enter lottery on your alt if any of your characters on that world have already entered the lottery. The notes clearly say that you can only "be under effect of ONE ENTRY per service account per world" in any single lottery period. So people will have to choose whether they want to try snapping up their own personal house first OR increase chances to get FC house on behalf of the fc masters. I know what I'll be doing lol Vast majority FC masters are in it just for the gardening plots and airship and submersible voyages and the convenience of FC chest that you can use to dump your stuff for alts (or just simply dump your stuff), don't let any1 tell you otherwise :P

Although, if you manage to get a house the 1st week and your FC didn't get lucky winning their plot, I suppose THEN you would be able to increase their chances by being able to enter on their behalf, but still only with one char per service acc per world

That is not stated anywhere. Go to the Lodestone topic, and do a word find for "service". That word is only included in the following question/answer:

Q: I understand that only one entry per character per lottery period is allowed, but is there any limit per account?
A: The restriction that players may only purchase and maintain one private and one free company plot per World per service account remains unchanged. For this reason, you cannot submit an entry for a free company plot on a given World if another character on the same account purchased and maintains a free company plot. Likewise, you cannot submit an entry for a private plot on that World if another character on the same account purchased and maintains a private plot

No where does it state there is only one entry per service account. It is one entry per character.

To the reply above, I'm sure I've seen it red font a few days ago on Lodestone, but if you say it's not the case, and I'm indeed wrong, then I apologize for mis-info. I went through the text several times but also cannot find it. I clearly remember the "under effect of one entry" and thought to myself that was a Urianger-esque way of putting it. If you're right, then I suppose FC's with alts (and enough Gil) will have higher chance, not the baddest of the news. Although ALL lottery is still bad news, we were hoping for at least some FCFS

I have read and re-read the lodestone. I have listened to the Liveletters in native Japanese, and to ensure my understanding of Yoshida-san's words were correct I also read the translations from more fluent people than me.

Do you have an official link, a source, a direct quote for this "clearly stated" fact please, because it seems to be against everything I have read and heard in two languages? Thanks.

If person has alt account account with 8 alts it wouldn't matter sense none of the alts is on their main account.
