There are ways for the game to play easier for you while increasing the difficulty. And that would simply be to give us an option to make combos a single button press vs 2 or 3 different button sequences. I know every one hates add ons, but dalamud apparently does have that feature and may assist you.

Let me see if I have this straight. You want the developers to make this game harder past the point where somebody like me can complete the MSQs and your solution is to force me to try and find some kind of third party add-on in order to be able to play the game? What a thoroughly uncharitable person you are.
