She is not the minority. Maybe on these forums that are predominantly used by players who lean toward the hardcore side, but there are literally millions of players who have never touched these forums, the Balance Discord, and/or your raiding FC that side with her. If she's in the minority, why do so many players take off their clothes when queueing for the Alliance Raid roulette? You can't tell me that they're doing it because they want more of a challenge.

You pointing out that people on the forums/the balance/reddit/etc aren't the majority doesn't make the people who think the game is "too hard" or "perfect" not the minority.

Do you have any proof of this? Because unless these silent players say something, you can’t really use them to back up your argument. The official forums is hardly a place for hardcore players—speaking as someone who has been posting on here since 2016, it’s mostly a mixed bag with some “hardcore”, some “casual”, and some “midcore”. “Literally millions” doesn’t hold much weight either, since the highest reported active user count was a little bit over a million pre-Endwalker. If you’re using the “25 million accounts registered” as data, do keep in mind that that count also counts RMT bots. It’s not accurate for actual players.

Would you rather we get only 1 raid update every 12 months instead? Or how about no raid updates for 3 years like swtor and when it finally did get one it was a single boss and the rest of the raid was added in piece by piece over the course of a year?

You mean like the Ultimate fights, e.g. the one that was pushed back or cut (depending on how they actually handle developing them going forward), that healers are supposed to do in order to feel any sense of engagement?

The only official surveys, for Final Fantasy XIV, were for how people felt the December 2021 Fan Fest was handled, and a Japanese-only survey that ended in February 2022, which asked about your favorite characters and story moments. As far as I'm aware, there have been no other official surveys announced. A quick internet search doesn't bring up anyone talking about any random surveys, especially any surveys asking anything like "tell us how you feel about job design, on a scale of 1 to 10."

Unless that survey had questions that concerned job balance, job design, and content design, then I don’t see how it could be used to make informed decisions on progressively dumbing them all down. Assuming they even take any of the responses into consideration.

Or the same SE who insisted Lilies were completely fine throughout Stormblood only to cave in Shadowbringers when people were advising new White Mage players to literally take their gauge and throw it away because Lilies were that useless? By the way, players told Yoshida at the media tour this was a problem. How about with Endwalker right now where Machinist has been left to rot for the entire tier because it's damage was so hilariously low it can't compete with Dancer.

Suffice it to say, SE has a lengthily track record showing the precise opposite of this supposed "proof".
