Carpenter quests stopped

I recently reached both lvl35 and then a couple of days later lvl40 when handing in Grand Company quests. I got the message that new Carpenter quests are available, but when I went to the guild there was nothing. I haven't had the same problem with my other crafters and gatherers. I tried to do both a forum search and internet search on this (I noted that others have also searched on the internet with this question, but couldn't find any answer), but without any luck.

Anyone else run into this? I guess I should put in a ticket.

EDIT: I have just returned to the game after several years away and started a new character.

I think all the job quests stop at 45 or 50.....until you finish the last of the ARR patch MSQ quests, then the later quests become available.

There could be the possibility that you didn't complete the previous CRP class quest after picking it up forever ago. Got anything ongoing in your journal?

Yeah, I have the unfortunate habit of taking a crafting job quest, then turning it off in the Duty List and forgetting about it, only to find I've gone up 15 levels beyond that quest, and then having to do them all at once.

Aside from the second level 50 quest (that starts off Heavensward crafting job quests), there are no restrictions on the ARR crafting quests. One could rise from 1 to 50 while still struggling through the level 30 war/magic user quests, but it would require a lot of gil not usually seen that early in the game.

Equip your CRP main hand, which switches you into the CRP job.
Look at your upper left corner of your display, you will see the mini window that shows your current MSQ story line quest.
Below that window will be a smaller bit of text that will be your current job quest, click that.

Brilliant! Thanks that was it. An unturned-in lvl30 quest at another location. I saw the "Captain to Conjurer" quest on my ticker, but assumed it was an unturned-in Conjurer's quest from my alt.
