I wonder if SE would remove the Z title?

The title Z in FFXIV has absolutely nothing to do with the real world and what is going on in Russia.

If "Z" will be added to forbidden symbols/whatever it's called ones by larger entities like EU and or USA then companies having services in those regions will have to comply. The question is how it would be phrased. We still have WW II games with full Nazi Germany or Soviet Union not to mention Hitler/Stalin themes. IMHO it's very unlikely to happen by law to such extent, but it can happen due to Twitter outrage.

Personally I won't be using it. I switched to it after getting my WHM weapon but now there is an awful war just around the border of my country.

Z is a designation used by the Russian Military to refer to specific troops. Thus some people want to remove it because Russia bad Red Scare 2.0 bullshit.

The problem with Z or V is not that they are used by troops but because Putin propaganda elevated "Z" to a symbol of their "way". They have kids wearing it, propaganda clips with everyone with "Z". Everyone pro Putin, pro "special operation". And Russians do use it to show support (wherever from brainwashing or fear) so it's going the same way as hailing to swastika and so on.
