For Garo gear it seems it's best to think of them as Armor Sets and Robe Sets. Armor sets are for one specific job. Robe sets tend to be shared. I guess we'll see how that turns out.

The "robe sets" are all the Makai sets, to make the terms easier.

I wish jobs got access to both styles of gear, or at least give the armoured jobs secondary access to some of the Makai gear. I'd like to use that style on ninja.

<_< I'm cautiously hoping for this, and if it doesn't happen this patch I'm gonna make some noise about it. I'd REALLY like to be able to use the Fhealer gloves and some of the headpieces at the least, but I bet I could make that coat look good.

Or even better, since PVP gear is more or less just glam at this point, and the last few sets have been level 1 glam anyway...maybe they could remove gender AND job locks while they're at it?

That's my thinking as well – mostly being able to exchange gloves and headpieces between the sets, but I'd be interested to try the coats on all my characters as well, especially if they adjust the look of the bodice on the women's healing/striking coat. I think my Viera could look good in the Markswoman coat.

I wouldn't put any hopes on it, given that their other recent PVP gear has been level 1 and still class-locked, but it would be nice to see those locks removed.
