New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

So who gets to pick the hairstyles that get converted? Is it the same person who decided which Female Viera hairs got ported? If so fire them.

I said before but it's long lost in this thread, I don't think they're "picking" them as such, but to me it looks like the first steps in a systematic conversion of everything.

There are the most recently added hairstyles for the other races, which were probably made at the point when it was known behind the scenes that Viera and Hrothgar hairstyles were coming, and so they were made at the same time as the others.

And the rest of the selection seems to be early items: the first available shared hairstyles; FFXIII, which I think was the first one added to the Mog Station, and the ponytail which must have been one of the earliest unlockable styles.

I don't know the order for certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is the case that together they are all just sequentially the earliest shared hairstyles in the game.

Edit to add: checking the order that hairstyles are listed, first you have the FFXIII Pulse style mixed in among the semi-race-specific styles, then the first two fully shared styles: one being the style we got already, the other one shown in 6.1 gear previews. (The exact order of the two styles varies by race.) The ponytail is a bit further down the list, but seems to be the second unlockable hairstyle after Pulse.

At the other end of the list, the NieR hairstyles are most recent, though there are two others between them and the Controlled Chaos style. Still, perhaps they are coming later.

Overall it definitely looks like they're being done in a sequence regardless of whether the specific style is a good one for the new races or not.

SERIOUSLY, I have always fought for the Devs and tried to be understanding, but these Hrothgar hairstyles are just plain LAZY. They dedicated absolutely no time or resources for this. I'm am really hoping that they just messing with us because even modders have done better work then what they showed us and they don't get paid!
