New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

Okay but no seriously, I'm starting to wonder if the dev team is only going to weigh in once we reach 200 pages.

I mean, it's only fair if they do weigh in at that point:
- It shows the playerbase still cares
- It shows the playerbase still has complaints in need of being addressed
- It shows that their answer was not sufficient and they NEED to start being more serious and transparent about this topic
- It shows that just dumping one answer without reading feedback is just going to bite them in the future

Keep in mind this thread is still alive. People are still coming back to it disgruntled after every addition to the game without nary a mention to what we're saying. We're not being unreasonable here: WE WANT A PROPER RESPONSE AND ACTUAL WORK.

Easily you have a pool that the taller races can barely fit, with Roegadyn and Hrothgar not fitting AT ALL in there. You also have one of those children's park bar things (idk, I see them a lot in American shows, but we don't have them where I live o.o; ) that really only fits to play around if you're a Lalafell. It barely counts as a stool for other races.

But it's still one more area you can explore, and we don't even have access to it at all. Couldn't they just give us a potion to shrink it down? Sure, you find it lame, but we could all go in and find it lame together. Why is it that we have to take your word for it or make alts\buy fantasias just to experience the same content you do? Besides, it can't be that lame. It's not like it's Fellowships.

At least not for the reason you're claiming. I'm saying people are irritating when they meme around because of how insensitive it is to other races. You guys know that the game pays attention to your race, and you have races that the game would honestly rather forget. It's not like playing the race is any bad, by all means, play whatever you want. It'd be like saying "Nooo you can't play female miqo'te because Y'shtola is one". Like, really. The race is there, play it. And hopefully you get the same level of content as everyone else. The same fairness as everyone else. Because it's clear WE aren't afforded that at all.

But don't make dumb comments when you have races that are lacking in content and attention when it's clear yours gets a bit more than even the others do.

Anyways, if you ask me and IMO, Mi'qotes are probably more what they design for. Seriously, EVERYTHING looks good on them lol. Absolutely everything, can't go wrong with it. Sure, you don't have Mi'qotes exclusive homes, but they're pretty much one of the most prevalent races out there in terms of story/content :P I'm more willing to say that they kinda just base more around Lala/Miqote, the base races get some love, then it falls off from there..

A shrink potion would be cool - but meh, it's a house with two NPCs that have overworld dialogue, hardly important, and hardly anything that constitutes as "content" imo.. Now if they made content that is actually worthwhile and barrs specific races, I'd get it.

As for the furniture.. I'll have to see if I can find what you're talking about lol. I actually wish more furniture would be smaller-sized, if you wanted true Lalafell sized furniture, you'd have to sink the furniture hilariously low into the ground.

I think even for old races, they don't get modified helms to fit their ears anymore, especially with the newer stuff like calfskin caps and such which fully cover your ears as if they are not there.

Honestly, don't put you hopes up for that for Viera and Hrothgars especially. What we have currently is probably the best that we will ever get so it's best to temper expectations and get used to it.

They could waited until the next actual patch to give these pvp buffs, wasnt realy necessary to run it now in a random (probably not planned) patch, almost like an emergency patch, full of buffs for blm, random buffs to other class to mask the bias... just saying (dancer still trash on pvp). They could enable the options that let the hrothgar use the other hrothgar head's hairstyles while they are there, just to pretend they care...

its funny because lalafell are a bigger drain on development resources and probably inhibit a lot of creativity.

1) lalafell have their own unique body they need to fit armor onto. due to lalafell proportions they have to design with this in mind. (roegadyn and hrothgar also share a particular body which has gear fitted onto it but i'd say 2 races is more value than just 1). this issue bleeds over into more than just armor and gear.

1.5) they need to design cutscenes with them in mind too. due to their tiny size they need to make separate versions of cutscenes specifically tailored to lalafells because otherwise the framing would look off, or i imagine in some cases your character would probably get blocked by something in the cutscene. a good example of this is in either 4.3 or 4.4, whenever they introduce asahi. normally he just gets in your face (unsure of how this looks on the taller races like viera/elezen/aura/hrothgar/roegadyn), but as a lalafell he has to scrunch down to be able to get in your character's face

2) they need to design jobs and their animations with them in mind too. again due to their tiny size they have to design each job animation specifically while making sure nothing looks off or doesn't look weird on lalafells compared to the other races.

Honestly at this point all I'm asking is at least a "Hey, we're working on that, we heard you saying X and we'll act doing Z" either on the next patch notes or at least in a single reply in here if they don't feel like doing a general news post.
Or at least a "We passed X suggestions into the development team after reading all the comments regarding this" from the Community Team.
You can even join a PvP/PvE/Job Changes roadmap post into a single one with the Hrothgar hairstyles and tackle all concerns in a single page with the fix roadmap you'll follow.

...Completely asking the bare minimum on the matter but at least to not make us feel in the dark for more months. I can understand that these changes can take a long time, what it can't take a long time is to have some updates on how this (or any other matters that worry the community) will be fixed.
