they are being lazy and gave an extremely vague excuse as to why they don't have ears despite the fact that there are mods that feature the same exact hairstyles, but have the ears. they had the GALL to say "just pretend like the ears are inside the hair" as if that wouldn't piss off every hrothgar player out there.

Literally as Posted Here. We know that they work. And modders have figured this out. It took them months to do this. But it takes Squenix years.

We were told viera & hroth would have unique hairs since they had unique features- I was personally excited to see what they would come up with & as others have pointed out (idr if it was in this thread or another one), we shouldn't have to ask for these things when we were told we'd get them.
Another problem is is we don't know how to reach out constructively to get the proper attention because it certainly doesn't feel like we're really even being considered- the only way else I could think is through the support desk lol
I don't care about clipping personally, because something will always clip. I'd rather have good hairstyles even if they clip- there are plenty of glamours that we can use to resolve any issues if folks have them.

Why even design such a race to just treat it like a red headed stepchild - I'd have been happy if yoshida just said "we're still working on adding hairs to hrothgar and viera" and show us concept art of what the intend to look like- 3 years is a long time to only be given these.
but this is 100% a disappointment

I hope that when the patch comes we discover that we can use the racial hairstyles from the other faces, with ears included, at least... and without paying a fantasia to change the hair. But not even I can be too certain of that now. I Just hope yoshi-p sees the total dissatisfaction from the community and does something about it... even if it's just letting the ears clip. I still love being a hrothgar and don't wanna be a roe...

Sadly no, It was bad enough to be an April fool, removing ears (like they started doing for Miquo'te too) and doing Karen hair to boot.

I feel bad for my Hroth friends. The modders have shown what can be done.
