I also don't like the removal of Kaiten... Kaiten feels awesome to weave and adds a lot of speed to the Job, it's just going to feel more boring to play imo.
I do understand it because of the auto-crits now but I'd rather take potency nerfs that are made up for with Kaiten.
Just removing Kaiten is bad imo, it's one of my favorite things of playing SAM -_-, it's a great and unique skill why remove it...

I'll hold my expectations for the job changes until we get the patchnotes, but so far I am VERY pleased! Trying very hard not to get my hopes up but it's hard, haha!

The real MVP this LL is them mentioning they will be adjusting which levels we get skills, making synced content a much better experience!

I'd love to see the keybinds of people who think there's some huge issue with button bloat in the game.
The issue with removing skills in FFXIV too is that the rotations are very streamlined, removing skills just make them more monotonous.
There's not much random variance at all so removing skills just make the set rotation shorter and less engaging...
