By the time they get a pass to be able to use an airship they will know. I rather have different docking stations for each city anyway. Or, the other idea, where you still talk to the person, but a gate just opens, no cutscene.
That would be so awesome, insted of being on the back of a Demithor, perhaps on the back of King Behemoth, but Greed's Underbelly can burn in the fires of Valahalla for all I care.If they take anything from White Knight Chronicles, it better be the city of Greede. Holy crap, what I wouldn't give to have a city like that in this game...
That music too...holy balls! <3
Just giving this a friendly bump.![]()
Also, please make it run faster. Those cut scene and loading take too long.

Hmmm I have to go there, keep running till you hit a door that will not open, fuuuuuuu run back to the start for the lever you missed, then the good old go to the north lever, drop down the drain to pull another lever back to the lift to do the same in another position, hate that zone soooooooo much, hope something similar never comes to FFXIV lol.
I'm the opposite! I want a zone to be a chore to get through! That way, it feels like we're meant to stay out!Hmmm I have to go there, keep running till you hit a door that will not open, fuuuuuuu run back to the start for the lever you missed, then the good old go to the north lever, drop down the drain to pull another lever back to the lift to do the same in another position, hate that zone soooooooo much, hope something similar never comes to FFXIV lol.![]()
The same elevator also takes you to the airship landing, which is a seperate area. And the stairs take longer than the elevator (Though the elevator cs could really have a lot less fade to black wait time slowing it down)In Limsa there is an elevator from the Adventurer's Guild to the Chocobo Stables, which can be reached by also walking down some stairs with no loading screen. I had this particular elevator in mind when I brought up the topic.
The idea that an NPC standing in the elevator (or even just a interaction thingie) that you talk to would be able to take you to the airship landing. That would solve the issue, no?
i would so totally spend all my time on that elevator......wait for people to wanting to get on an just when they think there going to get a rid pull the lever and hi jack the elevator.Y'know, there's really no reason we can't have a legitimate, realistic elevator. There's a targetable lever you activate to call it. You wait for it. You get on it (likely with other players), you interact with several targetable objects or a single object with a menu to select a floor, and then it behaves the way elevators normally behave.
Bonus points if there's distinct elevator music!
