Since we are talking about what is fair and what is not, instead of further arguing between lottery and FCFS it would be right that those who REALLY helped rebuild the residential area get priority when it comes to getting (upgrading) a (their) house in Empyreum.

Many argue that the lottery is fair and gives everyone the opportunity to obtain a house, but it was the Saints and Beatus/Beata of the Firmament who reconstructed what you are discussing today.

It doesn't seem more unfair to me than having to depend on the rng and compete for a large plot upgrade against someone who doesn't even have a house.

No, we didn't. We constructed the Firmament, not Empyreum.

We were told upfront that participation in the leaderboards was solely for bragging rights and the title, nothing else. SE isn't going to change the reward after the fact.

Considering how many bots were present that made these titles and contributions - your idea is completely flawed and not to mention - <insert response given by Jojoya>.

So yet again by that logic, the bots will win more housing plots to sell on whatever black-market deals are going on while the players still suffer an insufferable housing setup that still makes no sense and does nothing to help the game and players.

I see the OP's point. I have millions of skybuilder points put into the Firmament. While I think a house would be a nice reward, instead I earned hundreds of thousands of scrips. I should have a t-shirt that says "I built the Firmament and all I got was this lousy t-shirt and Ufiti Horn."

Do you think SE would've let a single server not hit the quota of restoring ishgard? All servers were bound to have this happen, if no one did anything they would've just moved some numbers and said "all managed yay" anyway.

It was a contest of stamina, spare time and bots and if you managed, you got a title. That's your reward, you did not rebuild ishgard you just joined a race.
