I really regret not bothering with the Custom Delivery weeklies for so long and forgetting about the Firmament after I unlocked it.

It's a shame I missed out for so long. Makes me feel bad for others that were like me and skipped the side stuff and just progressed the MSQ or get distracted by other things for prolonged periods of time. Like Choco Racing.

Anyway, her quest line is great and the reward was well worth it.

I really need to finish the Doma Restoration too but it takes so long since it's a weekly only donations.

I only recently, within the past couple of months, have gone back and completed my custom deliveries. I only had Charlemend and Kai-Shirr finished. I'm glad I went back, those stories are sweet.

Takes time yes, but it's basically zero effort. Unsync a couple of dungeons that give green rewards, then sell them all to the enclave. Takes a couple of hours to max for the week, then wait til the next week.

You don't even need to do that. Just go to the marketboard and buy all the orchestrion rolls and junk materia that people are selling at or below NPC sale price, then hand them in to be paid back what you've spent plus the bonus. You lose a little through sales tax of course, but certainly better than spending hours grinding dungeons.

For what it's worth, I get 9 to 11 minute runs of Shisui (lvl 63 SB) on lvl 90 WAR, PLD, and DRG in the level 580 crafted gear. Depending on how many doubles drop, it's anywhere between 10 and 13 items per run. I haven't tried selling them in Doma (thanks for the suggestion!) but they're 1290 GC seals each and are a great way to get the minion boxes.

If you queue next to a retainer bell and shove the items on them between runs, you're looking at approximately 83,850 seals per hour.

I've just never needed anywhere near that many seals for anything. The minion boxes seem like too much handling to bother with, and I don't really need the money.

I'll run dungeons just enough to collect gear for glamours I want, but I wouldn't want to run them even more times after that.

I also need to do this questline, and heard it is fun and compelling, especially in comparison to the other CD peeps.

I remember avoiding the questline particularly because I had just maxed out Charlemend, and it really started to feel like they were churning out a new CD peep every patch. I was working on EX mounts, Bozja, combat and tradecraft relics, and still grinding my weekly tomes. Sometimes you get to a point where the last thing you want to do is a quest, especially if you know it is going toss you into cutscenes, and/or start a chain of quests, and that's where I was for the last several weeks leading up to EW release.

I'll definitely get around to it hopefully sooner than later.

They were added in kinda quick succession. Ehll Tou was in 5.2 and Charlemend in 5.3. But we hadn't gotten one since Kai-Shirr in 5.0 when we got Ehll Tou. Her questline is definitely worth doing.
