Thread deletion?

I want to delete a thread, the official help says theres a button to do so... but there isn't. Then everyone says to contact a mod, I find a mod, and I cant privately message them.

So what am I supposed to do?

Threads usually don’t get deleted around here unless the mods find them problematic. Otherwise, I don’t think there’s much you can do. I don’t think using the report button to report your own thread to be closed has ever worked.

Probably because tech support is for the game, not the forums.

I found my answer sadly in a thread someone else made regarding the button that doesn't exist; https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...page%20appears.

Apparently it isn't a tech issue... (confusion LOL)

Avoid the issue altogether, and just 'manage' the forums by shifting posts to a 'more appropriate forum'. Never mind answering the question, that goes above and beyond.

That person is not a community moderator. They do Technical Support.

Then they need to remove the TITLE below their name that spells 'Moderator'.
