    FFXIV Client Crashes

Hello, A friend of mine has recently been experiencing crashes.
When they first logged in after a new PC, they were running the game just fine.
We played for a long while until the game randomly crashed an Central Thanalan.
After troubleshooting for a while, we fixed the issue and were able to play for another short while before another crash happened at Western La Noscea. Now the game crashes on the loading screen, no crash error or any message appears.

Here's the following event log from Windows:

    -Restarting Multiple Times
    -Clean Boot
    -Running Compatibility Mode

If it helps, my friend runs the client via steam.

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize for the delay in response to this issue. The error you are describing may occur when DirectX crashes. We suggest to perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the 'Start up' Tab. Then, Disable everything. Additionally, can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display'. Lastly, are you able to access other characters?

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
