FC Housing Plots with the Lottery System

Hi All

Ive tried reading and researching, but maybe im blind or its not yet fully known, however i have a billion questions about housing!

My main one is as an FC i want a Large Plot so as i read it i find a plot, enter a lottery and either win or lose. This is quite clear, but what is not clear is, if i lose that have all other large plots gone at the same time or can i then try another one and so on?

I seem to understand that other FC members could enter lots for other plots, but that gets real expensive fast if we happen to win multiple plots, if its even possible?

For sure, and thats what i think im worried about, (without tons of gil and multiple FC members over multiple plots if you can even do this) really you get 1 chance at the large and if you dont win that, thats it, no chance on the others.

What they need to -and should- do, is change the housing system so that FCs can only have _one_ house. A lot of the houses are taken up by shell FCs or through exploits, and frankly, it's absolutely bogus this was never addressed at all afaik. If an FC has multiple houses (i.e. the ward on Mateus, several on Ultros in Mist/LB) they keep one but the rest are yeeted into available plots.

The lotto system is a nice change in all fairness to S-E, but it's putting a bandaid meant for a human on a bursting water pipe imho.

There's a difference between an FC-owned House(where 1 is only allowed) and an individually owned house by a character. The house purchased by the FC Owner is subject to only owning that one house since they are the one purchasing. If someone in that FC wants to by a house for themselves and not an apartment inside the FC, they then can go out into the housing market and find themselves one. It's not just ONE FC holding an entire ward hostage if the individuals are doing it; but if it's being held up by suspicious bots, then it becomes understandable at that point and requires thorough investigation.

With 5 members, your FC can have 5 entries. As long as you have the gil and don't want to try for a personal house instead.

As it stands it looks like you can only bid on ONE house per character per world whether it is an FC house or a personal. So I don't think too many FC members will be willing to forego their shot at owning a personal in order to bid for the FC. But There is always the option of alts.

But if 50 members of an FC bid on a plot you want for yours and you have one bid in, then your odds are 50-1.
