Personal housing too limited.

We have entire wards with less than a dozen homes taken due to them being FC only wards. Meanwhile personal housing has 30+ people trying to get the few vacant homes.

Is Square Enix going to address this major issue?

And for housing, whose bright idea was it to give 400 slots to Large homes? That isn’t enough slots to furnish the entire house so you are forced to close down either the basement or the second floor. These limitations on housing have been complained about by many for years. And it is long past time that they get addressed.

SE will start changing the ward designations in the future. For now, they want to make certain current FCs are able to get houses and it will take a couple of rounds for that to happen in the case of FCs that were bidding against each other for a plot.

The item limit is on SE's list of things to address per comments YoshiP has made in the past year. It's hard to say how much the item limit is affected by client hardware limitations so it may not happen until they increase system requirements in 7.0. It doesn't do much good to increase limits if the furnishings won't all render on player clients (something I experienced a lot in RIFT when I had an older computer so housing objects would be constantly appearing/disappearing around me).

I can only hope they open it up in 6.15. By then every FC that wanted a house has probably had 3-4 lotteries to do so.

Actually, we’ll be in the bidding phase of round 3 when the 6.15 patch drop on June 7th.

The graphics and stuff for FF14 is already low-bar and outdated. I am running this stuff on max settings on a computer from around 2016. My computer 6 years old. People need to stop playing on windows 7 potato's and expect the game to run for them.

Another cycle has come and gone and my FC's housing ward is still empty. I wandered around a bunch of FC dedicated wards looking at placards and there were no bids on any of the medium or large houses so I can only assume folks already have what they want. Time to unlock for individuals, even if it's only 3-6 more wards :/ I'm on a brand new server and folks are locked out of housing bc SE are holding plots hostage. I understand them wanting to give FCs a chance but there's nobody bidding at all. Even if they left Empyrium as is and just changed the other, older areas it would make a huge difference.

Losing on the private estate lotto and then seeing the FC exclusive wards almost completely open with no bids makes my blood BOIL. It's time for them to unlock housing for individuals 'cause it's clear that the FCs on my server aren't interested in Empyreum.
